First "Go To" post and found it easier to do this sketch than I had originally thought. I used the same colors as one of the cards in the magazine and one of my fun felt/ribbon/button flowers from my completed stash.

I'm proud to have this one under my belt, this FIRST one, and hope that my creative mojo is around for the rest of them!

Go To Challenge

I'm the first to admit that I am not the best at designing...anything. I love to cross-stitch and paint by number because I have a pattern and direction towards a finished project. I am a follower, and have decided that it is okay for me to be a creative follower. Even though I didn't come up with the design of a card, I can make it with my own two hands and fill it with love. And that is what I plan to do...

My new creative journey begins with a nod to the book "Julie & Julia"; instead of a cookbook for inspiration, I'll use the fabulous "Go to Sketches", volume 1 by PaperCrafts. No time frame, just me, 282 projects to choose from to initially CASE and eventually find my own creative voice.
